Track My Mayor now part of Answerable
Track My Mayor has a new home!
Going forward, the project will be part of Answerable, an independent media organisation that uses accountability journalism to help fill the gaps caused by the decline of beat reporting in stretched newsrooms.
Answerable (“to have to explain your actions to someone”) will continue to help journalists monitor if mayors keep their word. But it will do more than this. It will use reporting, fact-checking and promise tracking to hold politicians and civil servants responsible.
